Mandy Kolowich

Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., Mandy, Brad’s wife, is an ISSA Nationally Accredited Certified Personal Trainer as well as Certified Specialist in Fitness Nutrition and an ACE Certified Health Coach. Mandy has been a competitive athlete since the young age of 3 when she began as a gymnast. She later made the transition from gymnastics to cheerleading, where she earned honors as an All-American High School Cheerleader.
While juggling her competitive cheerleading schedule, Mandy also ran track. She later went on to Division I Western Carolina University, where she cheered Basketball, Football, as well as for the competition squad. In 2002, Mandy helped lead the competition team to their first ever finals in a national competition and their all time highest ranking finish to date. At the conclusion of her freshman year, Mandy was named MVP of the cheerleading squad by the WCU athletic department. Mandy then transferred to the University of Georgia, where she graduated Suma Cum Laude and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education.
After teaching Kindergarden for 6 1/2 years, Mandy is now training, providing nutritional coaching, and assisting in managing the Brad Kolowich Jr Fitness Studio full-time. Mandy’s strength’s include helping women of all ages and ability levels reach various goals through sound training and nutrition plans, as well as working with youth athletes.
Mandy is also the creator of Brad Kolowich Jr Personal Training Studio’s very own line of “healthy treats”. In studio, she creates a variety of pre and post workout treats including protein bars and even healthy protein cake pops. In August of 2012, Jezebel Magazine recognized her very own protein cake pops in an article featuring the studio.
Mandy is an avid runner and enjoys entering local and regional races of all distances. After years of mid distance running, in 2016, Mandy ran her first marathon, the Georgia Publix Marathon. In March of 2017, Mandy ran her second marathon in Wrightsville Beach where she qualified for the 2018 Boston Marathon. If you don’t see her running the roads of Atlanta, you may find her spending time outdoors at the lake with Brad and their labradoodles Rocky and Berkeley, traveling the world, reading, hanging out with friends and family, trying new restaurants, but mostly just anything that keeps her staying active!
