Brad Kolowich Jr. | Owner, Certified Personal Trainer, & Longevity Specialist

Atlanta based personal trainer and longevity specialist Brad Kolowich Jr currently holds over 12 years of experience in the fitness industry.  As a native of Atlanta, Brad spent his early years at Holy Innocents Episcopal School while also traveling the country where he received state, sectional and national rankings, earning honors as one of the top ranked junior tennis players in the country.  He then moved onto play Division I varsity tennis for the Seminoles of Florida State University (FSU) and later graduated from the University of Georgia.  Brad holds a bachelors degree from the University of Georgia (UGA) as well as being certified by some of the most honored organizations including the nationally accredited American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.), the American Red Cross (CPR/AED), and the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) as a tennis teaching professional.  In addition, Brad has earned his Specialist in Longevity and Anti-Aging.

Brad’s current daily clientele travels from all over, some traveling for hours daily to their multiple weekly sessions for his knowledge and expertise in the areas of weight loss, leaning and toning, muscle growth, core development, cardiovascular conditioning, nutritional design, injury prevention, flexibility, sports specific training, and motivation.  Brad has dedicated his career to staying on top of the latest research and developments in the fitness and anti-aging industry ensuring that his clients are provided with only the very best in the makeup of their exercise programs, workout techniques, and nutritional program design.

In addition to tennis, Brad’s athletic background also includes success in soccer, swimming, basketball, baseball, and Krav Maga. He enjoys filling his free time participating in these sports as well as being adventurous and active outdoors. Some of Brad’s favorite pastimes are whitewater rafting, wake boarding, kayaking, skydiving, target shooting, snowboarding, trying new restaurants in Atlanta, traveling the world, hanging with his family and friends, as well as spending time with Mandy and his labradoodles Rocky and Berkeley.

Mandy Malool | Certified Personal Trainer, Specialist in Fitness Nutrition, & Certified Health Coach

Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., Mandy is an ISSA Nationally Accredited Certified Personal Trainer as well as Certified Specialist in Fitness Nutrition. Mandy has been a competitive athlete since the young age of 3 when she began as a gymnast. She later made the transition from gymnastics to cheerleading, where she earned honors as an All-American High School Cheerleader.

While juggling her competitive cheerleading schedule, Mandy also ran track. She later went on to Division I Western Carolina University, where she cheered Basketball, Football, as well as for the competition squad.  In 2002, Mandy helped lead the competition team to their first ever finals in a national competition and their all time highest ranking finish to date.   At the conclusion of her freshman year, Mandy was named MVP of the cheerleading squad by the WCU athletic department.  Mandy then transferred to the University of Georgia, where she graduated Suma Cum Laude and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education.

After teaching Kindergarden for 6 1/2 years, Mandy is now training, providing nutritional coaching, and assisting in managing the Brad Kolowich Jr Fitness Studio full-time. Mandy’s strength’s include helping women of all ages and ability levels reach various goals through sound training and nutrition plans, as well as working with youth athletes.

Mandy is also the creator of Brad Kolowich Jr Personal Training Studio’s very own line of “healthy treats”.  In studio, she creates and sells a variety of pre and post workout shakes, protein bars and even healthy protein cake pops.  In August of 2012, Jezebel Magazine recognized her very own protein cake pops in an article featuring the studio.

In her free time, Mandy enjoys spending time outdoors with Brad and her labradoodle Rocky, running, traveling, reading, hanging out with friends and family, being involved in her Church, trying new restaurants, but mostly just anything that keeps her staying active!

Jonathan Kolowich | Certified Personal Trainer

Jonathan Kolowich, the younger brother of Brad Kolowich Jr, grew up in the Atlanta area. Jonathan is a graduate of Georgia State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Managerial Science. He was on the Dean’s List throughout his collegiate career, and finished his last semester on the Principal’s Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA. Jonathan attended Georgia State University on a baseball scholarship. Throughout his baseball career, he earned accolades such as CAA Rookie of the Week, CAA Player of the Week, and most recently College Sports Madness Conference Player of the Week just last February. Since finishing his baseball career, he has dedicated his time to the fitness industry. He is certified by the nationally accredited International Sports Science Association (I.S.S.A.) as a fitness trainer, and also CPR/ AED certified by Red Cross.

Jonathan’s biggest accomplishment thus far in the fitness industry took place in September 2012. He competed in the Men’s Fitness Ultimate Athlete Challenge in Las Vegas, a highly regarded event highlighting the best all around athletes in the world, and came in 4th place overall. His expertise is in muscle leaning and toning, weight loss management, muscle growth training techniques, and sports specific training. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys playing pickup games of basketball, baseball, running, wakeboarding, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Andy is certified through the nationally accredited National Academy of Sports Medicine (N.A.S.M).  He specializes in muscle leaning and toning, muscle growth and enhancement, weight loss management through many of his high intensity training techniques, and sports specific training.

Prior to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer, Andy grew up as an all around athlete competing in multiple sports.  In high school he double lettered in basketball and baseball.  Though Andy shined in many several sports, it was his elite talent in baseball that propelled his athletic career forward.  His senior year in high school he finished in the top tier of Georgia for the most home runs in regular season play.  He was also named regional player of the month, and several times all county player of the month.  His excelling talent in baseball lead him to college on an athletic scholarship.  While sustaining a busy schedule with school and baseball, in college Andy also juggled a part-time modeling career.

Since then, Andy has dedicated his life to staying up to date on the latest fitness and nutrition trends in providing his clients with only the best.  Andy’s moto is, “Check the I can’t and excuses at the door. Expect nothing but results.”  In his free time, Andy enjoys traveling, running, competing in 5k obstacle runs, lifting weights (his current weight lifting personal records include squatting 400+lbs. and dead lifting 500+ lbs.), indulging in new restaurants, and attending sporting events.

Madeleine Conti is an American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.) Certified Personal Trainer and National Physique Committee (N.P.C.) nationally-qualified bikini competitor.  Madeleine’s ability to effectively critique and improve her fellow competitors’ posing has led her to becoming the in-house posing expert at Brad Kolowich Jr. Personal Training.

Madeleine earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Percussion Performance from Georgia State University in 2013. It was her rehabilitation from three wrist surgeries throughout college that introduced her to health and fitness.  When Madeleine decided to compete in the bikini division of bodybuilding, she channeled her previous experience competing in Miss America preliminary pageants, where she won swimsuit at everyone.

When Madeleine is not teaching or training clients in the fitness studio, or on the road for a long weekend of competition, she enjoys teaching young children piano, percussion, and drum set in their homes, as well as teaching music part-time at Woodward Academy in College Park, GA.

Sean Runyan is an American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.) certified personal trainer.  After years of exercise experience in the weight room and on the hardwood, Sean sought to fuse his athletic passions into helping others as a personal trainer. Sean is a lifelong athlete and has traveled the country playing basketball and soccer at their highest competitive levels. Sean is also a 2011 graduate from The University of Georgia, where he majored in Advertising through Grady College of Journalism and minored in Music Business through Terry College of Business. Sean spent the early part of his professional career working in the entertainment industry for popular musical talents, such as Zac Brown Band and Widespread Panic.

After tearing his anterior cruciate ligament (A.C.L.) in his right knee in 2011 while playing basketball, Sean began to study the efficient practices that must go into exercise and living well. Now, Sean’s training ideology is to help men and women achieve their health and fitness goals by developing safe and sustainable workout regimens. His personalized and detail-oriented training strategies motivate those around him to develop well-balanced, healthy lifestyles.

Meirielly Teixeira | Certified Personal Trainer

Meirielly Teixeira, born and raised in Brazil, has been living in Atlanta for almost 12 years. She has been active since her middle school years, participating in competitive sports such as soccer, volleyball, and swimming as well as performing capoeira, a unique dance mixed with martial arts. While Meirielly has always cared about her well being, her passion for fitness and nutrition was not fully developed until 2009 when she started her own journey in bodybuilding. During completion of her nutrition degree at Georgia State University, Meirielly began incorporating weight training into her daily routine which already included application of her growing nutritional knowledge.

In 2012, Meirielly obtained her personal training certification. In addition, she and a business partner launched an online business, Mass with Class, aimed at inspiring and motivating people with a variety of fitness goals. Services included providing personalized training and nutrition programs, sharing encouragement and practical tools (e.g., videos, recipes), and offering a unique line of women’s apparel to national and international followers.

In May 2013, Meirielly graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition. In July 2013, she participated in her first bodybuilding competition, the NPC Georgia, where she placed 2nd as a physique competitor. Although Meirielly qualified to compete nationally, she chose not to compete again until the following year in order to allow ample time for improving her body symmetry and learning more about her body’s ability to respond to certain foods. The sport of bodybuilding requires much discipline, motivation, and determination, qualities which Meirielly possesses. She loves sharing her experience with others who want to follow the same path, especially with her clients.

Meirielly recently competed at the NPC Georgia where she again took 2nd place. She was able to bring her best to the stage after having made significant improvements in the areas of muscle gain, body symmetry, and shape. Meirielly’s philosophy of the sport is to always bring her best without trying to compare herself to the other competitors in her class. The only competition she has is with herself, and she works hard to improve her physique each year. Meirielly will continue to pursue her dreams and has plans to compete nationally in May 2015 as well to expanding her nutrition degree to achieve status as a Registered Dietitian.

Meirielly has acquired over two years of experience as a certified personal trainer and additionally is working to obtain her Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification (CSCS). Her areas of expertise include nutrition, strength and conditioning training, hypertrophy, weight loss, and sports-specific training. She takes pride in being able to share her positive attitude with her clients while also pushing them to achieve maximum results.
