Iain Vance is a National Strength and Conditioning Association (N.S.C.A.) certified trainer from Atlanta, GA. Iain is also CPR/ AED certified by Red Cross. He graduated from Georgia State University with his bachelor’s degree in political science and master’s degree in sports business. Iain played varsity soccer and football in high school and Division 1 football in college being recruited by Georgia Institute of Technology to play football in 2006 before transferring to the University of Alabama, and eventually ending up playing for Georgia State University’s inaugural football team under Coach Bill Curry in 2009. Iain became the first Georgia State football player to earn all-America recognition with his selection to the all-America third team by the Sports Network. He was also one of 10 finalists for the Fred Mitchell Award, which recognizes the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), Division II, Division III or NAIA placekicker who excels on the football field and in the community. He also earned FCS Special Teams Player of the Week recognition. In high school he was named to the first-team all-county by the Gwinnett County Touchdown Club as well as second-team all-county honors from the Gwinnett Daily Post and Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Iain has been a fitness enthusiast for 10 years and specializes in fitness aspects of strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular training.
Iain also has a background in law enforcement serving the Atlanta area, and most recently banking with a major financial institution. He enjoys being outdoors, good food, good times and surrounding himself with even better people.
